If meandering coastal paths, rugged cliff lines and serene beaches sounds like heaven to you, then this guided adventure along the Sydney Coast Track should be on your bucket list. With a like-minded group of explorers, we will embark on a 10km hike from Otford to Garie Beach, following the stunning coastline of the Royal National Park and taking in breathtaking views of the Pacific. Our experienced guides are there every step of the way, ready to show you the beauty of Australia’s native flora and fauna, and teach you a bit about the local history. If the conditions are right and luck is on our side, we may even spot a few whales, wallabies, or echidnas along the way.
And the best thing? All the money raised from this tour goes to helping UNICEF, which works in more than 190 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence.

What we'll do*
For this experience, we will meet at Central Station in the Sydney CBD in the morning for a short introduction and hop aboard the local train to the start of the hike in Otford. It’s here where our adventure really begins as we follow the Coast Track all the way to Garie Beach. Be prepared for views that take your breath away as blue skies and turquoise oceans meet the emerald green of native Australian bushland and swathes of golden sand. On this route, you will get to learn some of the fascinating history of the area and how the quaint cottages you’ll see on this section of the walk came to be. We will stop for lunch once we reach the water’s edge at Burning Palms Beach. The hike will end at Garie, where we will hop aboard an air-conditioned bus that will venture through the Royal National Park and transport us back to the local train station, to then catch the train back to Central Station.
*Please note that this tour does not visit the Figure 8 Pools.
