Social Projects

In 2018, Emu Trekkers is proudly supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation with their commitment to improve literacy among children in remote Indigenous communities in Australia.

What we love about the Indigenous Literacy Foundation is that they not only gift thousands of new culturally appropriate books - with a focus on early literacy and first language - but they also run programs to inspire the communities to tell and publish their own stories.

So if you are thinking about joining us for a hike, remember that all the proceeds of our walks go to helping organisations like the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
