As a a 100% not-for-profit, registered Australian charity, all the proceeds of our treks go towards helping kids in need. In 2017, Emu Trekkers is  supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation with their efforts to improve literacy among children in remote Indigenous communities.

The more money we raise, the more we are able to gift culturally appropriate books and financially contribute to the publishing of books by remote Indigenous communities in their first languages. Find out more here.
